I had difficulty identifying this plant, but it turned out to be common-or-garden ivy. The climbing stems have the familiar five-lobed leaves but the flowering stems (as we see here) have normal leaf-shaped leaves. It is an important species for wildlife, with butterflies and other insects feeding on the flower nectar and birds such as blackbirds and thrushes which feed on the berries in deep winter.
