Another of my local haunts. This is the River Cray in Bexley. It is a popular site for picnics, dog-walkers and cyclists, but if you visit before the people show up it is very peaceful. As well as ducks, geese and moorhens, there are kingfishers on the river. You are also guaranteed to see our local ring-necked parakeets flying across the meadows.
